Hergé Museum, in Louvain-La-Neuve


Georges Remi (1907 -1983), better known as Hergé, is the author of the famous “Adventures of Tintin” and other comic strips.

He was far more than a simple comic strip artist. 

While writing the scenarios to his stories, Hergé was often inspired by the real life events of his time.
 

Hergé is believed to be one of the ten most-often-translated French-language author.

Jean-Michel Folon (1934 -2005) is a Belgian artist, illustrator, painter, and sculptor. Several museums in the world dedicated exhibitions to his works. Jean-Michel Folon created a famous piece of television that was screened in France for many years. 

The Folon Museum is located in La Hulpe.
