Bangladesh is a green and riverine country with a wonderful nature and a young population. It emerged as a sovereign country when the Eastern Pakistan Province proclaimed independence on March 26, 1971. It is a generally flat country composed mainly of alluvial plains, its highest point reaching over 1000 ft (305 m) above sea level. With a population of about 160 million, Bangladesh is one of the most highly populated countries in the world. Bengalis make up the majority of its population. The country is also home to several ethnic minorities including in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. In Bangladesh, more than 700 rivers form a waterway with a total length of about 24.140 km, probably one of the largest networks in the world. They play a vital role in the economic and cultural life of the country. Besides its beautifull nature, the country has a lot to offer for tourist: several tourist spots such as the Bandarban Golden Temple) near Balaghata and Kantaji's Temple in the Dinajpur district, beach resorts including Cox's Bazar and St.Martin’s Island, and last but not least three world heritage sites, i.e. the Sundarbans (nature), the Paharpur Buddhist Monastery (archaeology), and the Bagerhat Mosque. Subarashi tours, a tour operator based in Dhaka, offers tours to the main tourist attractions and heritage sites in Bangladesh for both independent visitors and groups. It may provide travellers and foreign travel agencies with additional services such as visa assistance or English, Japanese or French interpretation.http://subarashitours.com/
