Audio and PDA Guides: Showing its technological colors, Hong Kong also has an audio guide service that can be accessed through your cell phone. The service provides tourist information about many of Hong Kong’s sights and also keeps you posted on events and promotions.

To access the service, simply
dial tel. 454 (but you’ll have to pay roaming charges) or pop into the tourist offices at Causeway Bay or the Tsimshatsui Star Ferry Terminal and pay HK$60, which gives you three days of unlimited access, free from roaming charges. Tech-travelers might also want to take advantage of the PDA Hong Kong Leisure Guide.
