Moonstone in Anuradhapura and Archaeological Museum of Anuradhapura, in Sri Lanka.

Beautiful and nice Moonstone of the Queen's Palace (Bisomaligaya) in the sacred city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.
The entrance of many buddhist or historical monuments in Sri Lanka has a moonstone. A moonstone is generally semi-circular and includes many carved decorations full of symbolism. The Anuradhapura moonstones include bull, horse, elephant and lion while the moonstones in Polonnarwa (later than in Anuradhapura) omit the bull out of respect for Hindus.
The moonstone at the Queen's Palace (Bisomaligaya) in Anuradhapura is attractive and large.
