Pictures of a Kandyan Wedding in Sri Lanka (gallery 1).

The Sri Lankan are very horoscope-sensitive. Buddhist weddings in Sri lanka are influenced by the Hindu culture which focuses on Nekath, the auspicious time that is derived from the horoscope of the couple. Many couples get married in January.

Here are a few pictures of a nice traditional Kandyan wedding that occurred in Anuradhapura in January 2011.
