African Jacana (Actophilornis africanus), also known as lily trotter, in Botswana.

The jacana is a tropical wader. It has long legs and long toes. It can walk across floating vegetation, especially lily pads, and on the water itself. It is also a very good swimmer and diver.

The tawny eagle is resident in numerous places of the world. It feeds on all kinds of carrion, usually fresh. It looks similar to the migratory Steppe Eagle.

The Crested Barbet is a species of small birds that belongs to in the Lybiidae family. It feeds on insects, other birds eggs and fruits. With its colourful plumage, it is perharps one of the most beautiful birds. It is a monogamous bird.

Crested Barbets are found singly or in pairs in Southern Africa. They nest in a hole in a tree.
