Pictures from Seychelles underwater: Hawksbill Sea Turtle and Striped Surgeon in Seychelles (photo gallery 10).
Hawksbill Sea Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) in Seychelles waters.
The hawksbill is a small to medium-sized marine turtle. It has a wide range since it may be found in tropical and subtropical regions of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. It is a critically endangered species. The decline of the species is primarily due to human exploitation for tortoiseshells or for food. Read more about the hawksbill sea turtle.
