The Red Devils have been inspired by African masks.

In Martinique, the most important carnival festivities take place in Fort-de-France. However, in fact, carnival is held, with a variable extent, on the whole island. Some smaller municipalities are often the scene of major carnivals. Morne Rouge is a small town in the foothills of Mount Pelée.
