The pareo is the Polynesian name for the wraparound skirt. It is known throughout the world as a sarong (India), lava lava (Samoa), kikepa (Hawaii), sulu (Fiji), or wraparound (USA).

Uru is the Tahitian name of the fruit of the breadfruit tree.
